You know, it can really make a parent happy to see their child learn to use their minds in creative ways. My oldest daughter has gotten into the loom band bracelets and is really flourishing in her creative designs. Sure, she has watched the occasional YouTube video for instruction and inspiration but she has also started creating her own designs as well! It really makes my heart happy to see her doing so well and enjoying what she does.
My daughter has expressed her want to earn her own money so she doesn’t burden us when she wants something. I, for one, don’t feel burdened. I love providing for my children, though I can understand how she feels. I think many, if not most, children love that independence and the opportunity to grow and mature. That said, my daughter has been able to sell some of her bracelets to friends and family and I’m truly grateful for their support in my daughter’s endeavors. It leaves a positive impression on her that she can, she can do whatever she puts her growing mind to. Do you know of a young one who wants to earn some money?
