Hello everyone! I’m so sorry I went M-I-A. This will be a brief check in… We ended up being called back to homebase to take care of some important matters for my inlaws. It’s been one thing after another, our truck died shortly after getting back and we had a big ordeal with the mechanic ( it took about a year just to get the truck running again, UGH), then at the beginning of the pandemic my FIL passed. More recently, my grandpa passed very suddenly. So, we’ve had a lot going on and my blog just took a backseat.
We’re still at our homebase but hope to get back out there soon! I do have some little things I can share, so I’ll be back. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

My hubby and I have had many an adventure over the years, our most recent being homesteaders in a small rural area of Alabama. We currently have chickens, a dairy goat we've lovingly named Georgia, three young Hereford pigs, a livestock guardian named Snow whom our children adore and two spoiled cats named Felix and Emma.
Soon, we plan on embarking on our biggest adventure to date, an extended cross country trip around the United States.
