I apologize for so much time passing between posts. What have we been up to?
We recently rehomed our dairy goat, Georgia, and her babies. It was bittersweet, to say the least. We will greatly miss that sweet crazy goat and her adorable babies.
Last weekend we, with experienced help, processed one of our pigs. Boy was that work! IT was also a lesson learned, lol. The second pig should go a lot quicker, but I won’t go into any more details about that! *wink*
I have been spending my spare “sitting” time knitting. I don’t normally like doing any yarn crafts during the warmer months, it’s just too hot to mess with! But, the evenings are starting to cool down and since I’m just learning to knit, I’m making smaller items. I’m particularly hooked on triangles at the moment. I don’t know why, but I just really like them, haha.
Our plans are going well. We’re still getting things ready and lined up. We got new tires on our truck. I’ve been going through things and attempted a yard sale this past weekend. Yes, attempted. Most of what is left will be donated. If you’ve never had a yard sale, I’ll tell you right now, it’s EXHAUSTING. And if you’re like me, the idea is nice but let’s just say, I won’t be having another one, lol. I’ve also made a few changes in the trailer, trying to make things more efficient though I think that will be an ongoing work in progress, ha!
So, that’s about it! Hope all is well with you all.
